The Asylum is a journey into hell where the hero goes in order to save his own soul. This is an incredible story of hope, love, death and fear, which centers on a psychiatric hospital. Will you travel to hell to save your soul? Join the author in this vivid telling of the hero and his journey.
There is no doubt in my mind, this is by far one of the best thriller novel that you will ever find, so for rejoice or just to say goodbye to a wonderful novel history, pick this one as soon as is available, your eyes would not stop reading, your heart will not stop pounding, and you will be joining the legions of admirers and supporters of one very interesting hero; as his time "ticks" through the asylum. The book will get you occupied in it's very first paragraph...
This novel is an adequate addition to the supernatural asylum sub-genre of horror, at least in terms of plot. However, it is in extreme need of a proofreader (literally hundreds of typos and punctuation errors), and an editor for redundant phrasing and passages wouldn't hurt, either. This novel has the makings of a good horror story, and I can definitely see a lot of creativity on Zaman's part, but it is severely lacking in presentation.
This book is interesting, but I found it difficult to concentrate on the story because of the spelling and grammatical errors in the text. The Asylum reads like the author used a voice recognition software that was not able to tell which word to use. The publisher should make immediate corrections and offer a fully proofread novel.
The vivid atmosphere of a psychiatric hospital is painted well by Zahid. Zahid tells a story where good must fight to prevail over evil in what happens to be hell itself. The book proves that sometimes we have to go to the darkest places to save our souls. This is exactly what the hero does as he travels to hell in hopes of coming out victorious. Zahid does a great job of making the reader feel like they are within the srory as they go through the pages on the end of their seat to see what will happen next!
